Take a look at the latest CLE rule changes for attorneys in Utah and Illinois.
Utah attorneys can now fulfill their entire MCLE requirement through Lawline. Utah counts Lawline’s webcasts as the live CLE requirement. Previously, our live webcasts were only considered to be a self-study option for Utah attorneys and were subject to the self-study credit limitation of 50% per reporting period. Stay tuned for Lawline’s plan for the next compliance year to determine how many live webcasts will be offered in 2024.
Illinois now has an online MCLE transcript system that will allow the MCLE Board to certify compliance for attorneys once their transcript reflects their MCLE compliance. IL attorneys are no longer required to directly report their compliance. Lawline will continue to report attendance as usual.
