We are excited to announce that our checkout flow has been updated to support Google Pay and Apple Pay.
This update is a transition from the old method of charging payment method tokens in the backend to creating a Payment Intent, which outlines the order and completes payment once authorized by the user. This transition sets the foundation for future improvements and features that leverage Payment Intents.
The primary benefit of this update is the seamless integration of Google Pay and Apple Pay, allowing users to enjoy a more efficient and secure checkout process with their preferred digital wallets. Additionally, this update aligns individual checkouts with our Teams Checkout, which already uses Payment Intents via a Stripe-hosted checkout form, creating a more consistent and streamlined experience across the board.
If you have a payment method saved in either Google Pay or Apple Pay, you’ll see the option to use them at checkout. If the option doesn’t appear, review the conditions below to ensure your wallet is properly set up.

Our next focus will be on streamlining the checkout process for our Teams Subscriptions. Currently, Teams Subscriptions utilize Payment Intents through a Stripe-hosted checkout form. To simplify this, we’ll be embedding the checkout form directly on our site, reducing the steps required to start a Teams Subscription and making the process more seamless overall.
