100 Episodes of the Lawyers Who Learn Podcast: Celebrating a Milestone with Yeve Chitiga
When we launched Lawyers Who Learn, we set out to do something simple: have honest, human conversations with attorneys about growth, change, and what it really means to build a meaningful legal career. One hundred episodes later, we're still doing exactly that, and we couldn't be more grateful.
For episode 100, host and Lawline CEO David Schnurman sat down with Yeve Chitiga, a former financial services attorney turned career transition coach for high-achieving professionals. It turned out to be the perfect guest for a milestone moment.
From Zimbabwe to BigLaw and Beyond
Yeve's story is one that stays with you. She immigrated to the United States at sixteen with a clear vision: college, law school, and become an attorney. She did all of it, working in banking in London and later as a corporate lawyer at a top firm. By most measures, she had made it.
But alongside those achievements, a quieter question kept surfacing: Is this the impact I want to make?
Rather than one dramatic turning point, Yeve's path toward coaching unfolded gradually, through a series of moments that each invited her to reflect and realign. Raised in Zimbabwe in a culture where community runs deep ("no strangers, only extended family," as she describes it), that sense of belonging became the foundation of her coaching practice. Motherhood deepened the shift further, reshaping her definition of success around presence, listening, and connection.
Today, she helps high-achieving professionals in demanding environments navigate their own transitions, bringing both the lived experience of a BigLaw attorney and the warmth of someone who genuinely believes in human-scale impact.
100 Episodes, One Common Thread
Looking back across 100 conversations, what strikes us most is how consistent the theme has been: lawyers are not just practitioners of the law. They are curious, evolving humans who carry their whole selves into their careers, and who grow most when they give themselves permission to do so.
From career pivots to courtroom breakthroughs, from burnout and reinvention to finding purpose in unexpected places, every guest has added a new dimension to what lifelong learning can look like in the legal profession.
Episode 100 with Yeve is a fitting chapter in that story. Her journey is a reminder that success is not a fixed destination, and that reimagining it is the true path towards growth.
You can catch the full conversation with Yeve Chitiga on the Lawyers Who Learn podcast. And if you haven't explored the catalog yet, there's never been a better time to start.
