Hundreds of Lawline attorneys have already created their Lawline Profile, and it’s a good thing they did - over half of all contacts from Lawline Profiles are from people looking for legal services or legal advice, which is exactly why we created Lawline Profiles in the first place. Now, Lawline subscribers utilizing their profiles have an edge when clients are searching for legal services.
This month’s featured Lawline Profile belongs to an IP attorney with a passion for gaming:
James Smedley is Chairman of the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Group at Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP. He is based in New York and is also admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania (and in front of the U.S. Patent Office). James’ practice is focused on strategic counseling of companies with respect to protecting and enforcing their intellectual property rights, both domestically and abroad. Early in his career, James worked for Lowenstein Sandler. He later founded the Sigma Law Group, an intellectual property law boutique. He is also an avid video gamer, and as part of the gaming community, represents eSports players, organizations, and teams with respect to all their management, contracts, and branding needs. You can contact James and check out his publications, such as the recent Christmas Edition – Esports Gamer Contract Fight Between FaZe Clan and Turner “Tfue” Tenney Must Continue in New York, on his Lawline Profile.
